Commitment to Digital Accessibility
C Consulting considers digital accessibility to be a fundamental element in ensuring an inclusive, clear, and user-friendly browsing experience for as many users as possible.
We are committed to designing, developing, and maintaining a website that is accessible, usable, and understandable, regardless of individual abilities, the device used, or the assistive technologies employed for navigation.
Reference Standards
This website has been designed and developed in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), specifically in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance criteria.
The website’s design and updates take into account the main accessibility requirements related to:
- semantic structure of the content
- readability and visual contrast
- keyboard navigation
- Proper Use of ARIA Elements
- Compatibility with assistive technologies
- clarity and consistency of the interface
Compliance Status
This website is partially compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA, subject to the limitations listed below.
Content Not Fully Accessible
Text Animations
Some text elements use an entrance animation when scrolling through the page. During the initial phase of the animation, the contrast between the text and the background may temporarily fall below the values recommended by the WCAG 2.1 – 1.4.3 criterion (Minimum Contrast). Once the animation ends, the text reaches the required level of contrast.
Glossary
The Glossary feature, which is powered by the third-party software component CM Tooltip Glossary Pro, has some accessibility limitations. Specifically:
- Some navigation elements do not fully implement the ARIA semantics required by accessibility standards;
- Some links in the glossary may have a color contrast that is lower than the recommended values.
These limitations depend on the software component used and cannot currently be resolved without updates released by the manufacturer. However, the Glossary feature remains available.
Carousel Components
Some dynamic components of the site, based on the Swiper library integrated into the Elementor framework, may trigger ARIA semantics-related warnings from automated testing tools. These warnings are attributable to the software component used and will be reevaluated in future updates to the framework.
C Consulting regularly monitors these aspects and updates the website whenever suitable technical solutions become available.
Assessments and Evaluation Methodology
Accessibility audits are conducted through automated and manual checks designed to identify any technical or structural issues.
The analysis activities include:
- checking the semantic structure of the pages;
- checking landmarks and ARIA attributes;
- checking color contrast and content readability;
- keyboard navigation controls;
- Manual checks of the usability and accessibility of the main interface components.
The automated checks were performed using:
- AInspector for Firefox, a tool developed by the Accessible IT Group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign;
- Google Lighthouse.
The results of the automated checks were supplemented by manual reviews aimed at assessing the actual usability of the content.
Continuous Improvement
C Consulting is committed to regularly monitoring and updating its website in order to continuously improve the accessibility of its content and features.
Continuing education activities may include:
- compliance with international accessibility standards;
- improved compatibility with assistive technologies
- review of graphic and structural components
- Update on the technical solutions adopted
- Replacement or update of third-party software components that have accessibility limitations.
Reports and Contacts
Every report will be addressed and evaluated in order to identify, where possible, appropriate measures for improvement.
Update to the Statement
This statement is updated periodically in light of technological developments, the audits conducted, and any applicable regulatory changes.
